Yearly Target
WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) focuses on ensuring access to safe water and sanitation – fundamental human rights. But 3 out of 10 families in Uganda don’t have access to a latrine and 70% of Ugandans in rural settings trek a minimum of 2 kilometers to access safe water. AMYU addresses these challenges through the construction of water wells and Latrines/ Toilets
Water Wells
We construct several waterwells spanning from shallow water wells, mannual machine drilled deep water wells, to small & mega solar powered deep water wells across Uganda.
Pit Latrines
Pit latrines and toilets are constructed at schools and isolated communities with hardly any place of public convenience.
